The Mistral Wind and Champagne Bar in San Paulo, Brazil is designed by the Brazil based Studio Arthur Casas. Mistral is a growing online Wine and Champagne supplier known in Brazil for the best and most complete catalogs of wine in the country.
,The original space was long, hollow, and had high ceilings. Casas used its length to his advantage by designing a long hallway, where the walls are angled and lined with a high gloss white plastic, black mirror, and vertical slats of raw wood. The colour palette is primarily white with a minimalistic contemporary design. Wooden panels at a higher level provide a sense of warmth to the space.
,The new bar includes a retail space, cellar, reading room, wine tasting and bar and interactive table screens on which the monthly selection of wine is displayed. The bottles are displayed in a variety of ways according to the space – with each label facing upward, Mistral’s store guests can walk through the shop and easily view the products.
,All in all, the new space is modern and approachable making it a great spot to grab some friends and enjoy a wine tasting.
