Rösti
Traditionally a Swiss breakfast dish made with potatoes and commonly eaten by the farmers in Berne, has now become popular all over Switzerland and around the world. A cross between hash browns and a potato pancake, it is served up as an accompaniment to sausages, meat, cheeses, spinach or eggs etc. or as a dish on its own.
